Wolfgang Peters

Wolfgang gathered experience in manufacturing and leadership around the world, having started his career in Germany and later having lived a significant number of years in Brazil, the USA, China and lastly in Thailand. He brings 26 years of experience in the automotive industry and also managed a late switch to the healthcare industry. His activities in engineering and manufacturing on different levels also gave him the chance to develop and hone his leadership skills in several different cultures.

• Set up the first Just-in-Time factory ever for Automotive Seats in Brazil
• Turned around a failing operation of $60M revenue and 1,600 employees from near bankruptcy to success
• Took over a German-Japanese joint venture in Michigan/USA and brought it to success, growing a $5M business to $80M in 4 years and still succeeded in securing outstanding profit margins during this growth
• Improved a poorly performing metal factory in China (stamping, welding, assembly and painting operations) with 800 employees to achieve demanding customer satisfaction level
• Set up 2 Greenfield operations in China for Magna
• Changed the entire Thailand operations of Mölnlycke Healthcare with 2 factories and 1,700 to improve quality, efficiency and bringing them to the needed industrial level
